Cloud Computing Engineer for Weather Forecasting

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Computing Engineer for Weather Forecasting to join our team. As a cloud engineer, you will design and develop operational data services exploiting cloud computing technologies to efficiently produce forecasts.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of cloud computing and software development. You will contribute to setting the strategic direction for production of data services and collaborate with a motivated team to deliver projects that solve real world challenges.

You will work closely with Met Office scientists to develop high-quality code and implementations of their research and lead activities to develop their capabilities.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new weather forecasting services to improving existing ones.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $49,174 annually, which includes a base pay of $33,794 and a Recruitment Retention Allowance (RRA) of 2,200 per annum as a market supplement.
