Job Opportunity: Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager in one of our secondary schools in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and safety of students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and autistic spectrum condition (ASC).

About the Role: As a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote student wellbeing and attendance. This will involve working closely with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to identify and address any issues that may impact student attendance and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing and attendance
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to identify and address any issues that may impact student attendance and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to promote student safety and wellbeing
  • Provide support and guidance to students, teachers, and parents to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all students

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing principles and practices. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
