Site Maintenance and Repair Specialist Opportunity

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business of Element Solutions Inc, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team at the Ashby site. As a key member of the Maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the site's facilities and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and operational.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment, including carpentry, painting, and other tasks as required.
• Complete delegated and reactive work to ensure the Ashby site is maintained to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of maintenance history, including building, equipment, and facility upkeep.
• Assist with tasks for the Maintenance department, such as trips to local suppliers for production needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role or trade is desirable, with a strong understanding of maintenance operations and safety protocols.
• GCSE Grade C in Maths and English, or equivalent, is required, or demonstrated through proven experience.
• Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels are essential.
• Self-motivation, ability to work autonomously, and a commitment to high standards of customer service are key competencies for this role.
