The Community Care Assistant will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the community. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have a Band 3 background in care, with experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities and autism. They will also be able to demonstrate evidence of working in a team and ability to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of service users.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for service users in the community.
- Support statutory and voluntary sector social care staff in the delivery of appropriate care in accordance with treatment and care plans.
- Band 3 experience working in a care setting.
- Demonstrate evidence of working in a team and ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work on own initiative under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
- Able to maintain accurate charts and data collection protocols that contribute to the assessment process.
Estimated Salary: £22,129 - £25,628 per annum
