About Our Role

Proud to Care Devon is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Care Assistant. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

As a Community Care Assistant, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing emotional support, personal care, and assistance with daily tasks. You will also ensure their safety and wellbeing while fostering independence and helping them maintain their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes
  • Assist with daily tasks, personal care, and offer companionship
  • Ensure customers' safety and wellbeing while fostering independence
  • Act as the friendly link between customers, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Drive clients' cars for appointments and outings, making every journey memorable
