Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary Special Educational Needs School in Chertsey.

About the Role:

  • Support students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs and abilities
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Calm and patient nature, with a kind and caring approach to students
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Previous experience working with SEN children (ideal but not essential)
  • Valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
