Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant at a Secondary Special Educational Needs School in Chertsey.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, and we welcome applicants with or without experience. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a calm and patient nature.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Valid DBS check (or willingness to apply)
  • Previous experience working with SEN children (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work flexibly and use own initiative
  • Kind and caring attitude towards children of all needs and abilities
What We Offer:

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates free child protection and prevent duty training. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. This may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
