Job Title: SEN TutorJob Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Tutor, you will provide individualized support and instruction to students with Special Educational Needs, developing and implementing tailored lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and instruction to students with Special Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Keep detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Knowledge of relevant educational frameworks and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours, temporary position
  • Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students
  • Potential for remote teaching depending on circumstances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
