About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Cost Accounting Specialist in our fast-paced Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial aspects of inventory, including warehouse and van stock.

Your duties will include ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory balances and movements, conducting regular inventory reconciliations, and identifying discrepancies. You will also develop and maintain standard costing models for inventory budgets and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and relevancy to business needs.

In addition, you will monitor and analyse cost variances related to inventory, working closely with operations to improve cost controls and efficiency. A strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in inventory accounting and cost analysis, is essential for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
