Facilities Support Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Support Officer to join our team at esure.
As a key member of our Facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our office space in Manchester.
You will work closely with the Head of Facilities Management, local Crisis Management Team, and other team members to provide a great working environment and support to our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the office is a safe and welcoming space for colleagues.
- Support front of house duties, including dealing with customers, contractors, couriers, and mail.
- Welcoming visitors, arranging catering services, and assisting with inductions of new colleagues.
- Desk booking and meeting room management.
- Liaise with landlord agent, arrange repairs, and ensure the space is supported as per the contract.
- Coordinate first aid, DSE, and fire safety support.
- Order stationery, equipment, and furniture, and coordinate related services and repairs.
- Regular visits to the Meridian office for security and condition checks.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with experience in a facilities environment, managing external suppliers, purchasing, and stock control.
Experience in supervising and communicating with contractors and suppliers is also essential.
A willingness to attend First Aid, Fire Marshal, and H&S training courses is required.
Strong relationship-building skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders of varying seniority are also necessary.
