Are you a Merchandiser looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced business or a Junior Merchandiser ready to take the next step?

We have a vacancy for a Merchandiser to join our Homewares team at B&M Retail. In this role, you will work closely with the Buyer to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy department. The role is full-time, office-based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock levels throughout the year to meet business requirements.
  • Assist in creating weekly core stock orders and manage orders into the business efficiently.
  • Drive performance for key trading periods, such as new product range launches and seasonal peaks.
  • Analyse data and current trends to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Cultivate close working relationships with key suppliers to maximise sales and profit.
  • Maintain and update WSSI's and Line cards on a daily basis.
  • Work to calendars, forecasting crucial lines for long periods.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel to manipulate reports and provide insights.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Merchandiser or a Junior Merchandiser looking to step up.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving targets and delivering growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, methodical with numbers.
  • Able to utilise data to understand customer behaviour and habits.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
