Job Title: Head of Shipping
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping and Logistics Manager to join our team at Career Hive. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials from our warehouses to our customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication and Coordination: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of shipments.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt and release of materials, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation in line with shipping schedules.
- Shipping Documentation: Manage the creation and processing of shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to the management team on customer KPIs, service level agreements, and financial targets, using data analysis and Excel skills to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work closely with the Transport Department, 3rd Party Carriers, and delivery points to resolve any issues or concerns related to shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Requirements:
- Logistics Experience: Proven experience in the logistics sector, with a focus on export documentation and shipping procedures.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel to analyze data and inform business decisions.
