Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Devices Software and Services (DS2) Cerulean team. The successful candidate will have a passion for Privacy and Security, strong technical ability, excellent organizational skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

About the Team

The DS2 Cerulean Team specializes in building foundational platform solutions that meet high security and privacy requirements for Amazon customers. Our team is collaborative and consists of experts from various fields working on Fire OS, Kindle, Android, iOS, and Cloud Technologies.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  2. Demonstrate ability to work independently and inter-dependently as needed.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to identify test automation opportunities and integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  4. Design and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  5. Analyze test results and report defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in troubleshooting and resolution.
  6. Work closely with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure automated tests align with business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, manual testing experience, automation testing experience, scripting or coding experience, and experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
