Mechanical & Electrical Locking Team Lead

About the Role
As a Mechanical & Electrical Locking Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and directing a team of Locking Fitters in the safe delivery of assessments, maintenance, inspections, renewals, repairs, overhauling, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical locking systems.

Key Responsibilities
Leading and directing the Locking Fitter team in the safe delivery of assessments, maintenance, inspections, renewals, repairs, overhauling, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical locking systems.
Providing planning resources and support for all mechanical and electrical locking maintenance.
Conducting audits of your team, resources, and assets.
Developing and implementing a mechanical and electrical locking overhaul and renewal plan.
Creating and maintaining minor stocking points for maintenance items.
Training and supporting your team in testing, renewing, and modifying competencies.

Requirements
Relevant railway signalling experience.
Relevant mechanical and electrical locking experience.
Experience in Signal Maintenance Testing including locking elements.
Good working knowledge of a variety of level frame types and different forms of mechanical locking.Signal works testing experience or relevant equivalent experience.
