Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Octane Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the automotive and engineering sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client's team in Heathrow.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the motor industry and should be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on vehicles, inspecting vehicles to identify any existing or potential faults, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake repairs.
A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum is available, depending on experience, along with additional benefits including company pension and employee discount. If you have a good understanding of standard engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and can work effectively as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, a good understanding of technical drawings and diagrams, and be able to interpret and troubleshoot technical information. In addition, they will have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
