About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Clinical Systems Development team at Waters Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical design support to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret development specifications to produce high-quality engineering information.
  • Liaise with suppliers to improve manufacturing techniques and cost-effective manufacture.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical Mechanical Engineering issues associated with Clinical Systems Development.
  • Network with external stakeholders and collaborators to develop innovative designs and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively within a global team environment.
  • Develop and source materials and technologies for medical device design and construction.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Mechanical, Electro/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Mechanical design/engineering experience within the automation industry.
  • Proven effective engineering experience of precision electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • In-depth understanding and application of skills required to design Automated Sample Preparation products.
  • SolidWorks experience.
  • Good working knowledge of medical device materials and processes.
