At Syzygy Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Management Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in setting the standards for our colleagues and providing clear and concise advice to our clients and stakeholders.

The Role

The Technical Asset Manager will support the Technical Asset Management Team in liaising with maintenance contractors and scheduling site visits. You will interpret and report on the technical condition of our solar PV systems, ensuring that our document management and technical reporting are delivered on time and are accurate at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the interface between maintenance contractors and our solar PV systems
  2. Schedule site visits and interpret the technical conditions of our solar PV systems
  3. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for our clients
  4. Work closely with our monitoring team to interpret remedial works required and liaise with maintenance contractors
  5. Manage large volumes of system data and onboard systems onto our monitoring platforms
  6. Act as a technical liaison between our development and asset management teams
  7. Establish and refine portfolio governance, processes, and systems required to deliver our services
  8. Manage and oversee the procurement of our supply chain

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Passion for renewable energy, solar PV, and EV
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in managing multi-asset PV portfolios
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams
  • Experience in European markets
  • Ability to utilise software solutions for large data sets
