Job Title: Technical Asset Manager

ABM is seeking a highly skilled Technical Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful transition of newly awarded Technical Solution contracts and promoting the continued compliance of existing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with key stakeholders to ensure all technical mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
  2. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
  3. Undertake Thermal Imaging surveys to identify potential issues.
  4. Conduct Energy Surveys to optimise energy efficiency.
  5. Perform single point of failure (SPOF) analysis to identify critical assets.
  6. Collaborate with the operations team to complete Plant & Equipment Lifecycle reports.
  7. Compile Dilapidation and Asset Verification reports to ensure compliance.
  8. Collate quotes from issues identified within the Dilapidation reports.
  9. Internal audit Technical Contract compliance to ensure adherence to standards.
  10. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP's).
  11. Provide training to sites on technical processes and procedures.
  12. Highlight any issues or risks that may impact the successful delivery of the project/contract.
Requirements:
  1. Flexibility to work on multiple projects and across multiple locations at any time.
  2. Technical background and qualification in the M&E Industry.
  3. Mobilisation/Project management experience.
  4. Ability to travel within the business operational area at short notice.
  5. High degree of interpersonal skills.
  6. Good communication and negotiation skills at all levels of management.
  7. Ability to work to a programme with tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication skills – Written and Oral.
  9. Strong financial acumen.
  10. Personal tenacity.
