About the Nursery Trainee Manager Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Early Years professional to join our team as a Nursery Trainee Manager. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily nursery activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to train, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare.
- Monitor and support the developmental progress of children, implementing appropriate educational activities and assessments.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, addressing concerns and promoting nursery events and initiatives.
- Help manage administrative tasks, including attendance records, incident reports, and budgeting.
- Assist in the implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring adherence by staff and parents.
- Promote a safe and hygienic environment, conducting regular safety checks and maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team, contributing ideas to enhance the overall quality of care and education.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
- Have a solid knowledge of the EYFS.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
