We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd.

The successful candidate will work with a group of SEN children with Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues in a mainstream primary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex needs and be able to provide individualized support to meet their unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to SEN children with Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure inclusive learning environments
  • Support children with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
