Facilities and Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Security Manager to join our team in Scotland. This is a part-time position, working either 2 or 3 days per week, in a job-share capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and secure running of our facilities in Aberdeen, Inverness, and Glasgow.
This role is an integral part of our Scotland region's operational and compliance structure. The Facilities and Security Manager will be responsible for the upkeep and security of our facilities, as well as supervising the Ground Handling team in Aberdeen. This is a physical and hands-on role, requiring a proactive approach to resolving issues and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Support facilities projects, including office moves, building changes, and refurbishment projects. Be the first point of contact for building and maintenance issues.
- Security Management: Administer the company ID pass security system and ensure compliance with AGS and HIAL airports Aviation Security protocols.
- Ground Handling Management: Supervise and direct Ground handlers on duty, ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- Experience in facilities/security management, with strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and operations.
- A passion for service delivery, with knowledge of working in a highly regulated industry.
- Competent with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with a range of audiences, including management.
- Ability to work independently, with a 'can-do' attitude and flexibility to cover a variety of tasks.
