About the Role

Costello Medical is a rapidly growing global healthcare agency specializing in medical communications, market access, and health economic and outcomes research. We work with a wide range of clients, including pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, patient and public health bodies, and charitable organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain hands-on experience with a variety of projects, typically working on two to three projects for the duration of your internship.
  • Assimilate, interpret, and creatively present data from clinical trials.
  • Support the preparation of medical education slides, perform systematic searches of medical literature, develop clinical trial manuscripts, or assimilate clinical and cost-effectiveness evidence to support HTA submissions to NICE.
  • Work across projects for two different divisions, including Medical Communications, Value and Access, and Evidence Development.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree level qualification in a scientific discipline.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate scientific material clearly in both written and oral form for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan your own work effectively, with a proactive approach to task prioritization and time management.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong self-motivation, self-awareness, and willingness to learn, with a desire to contribute to the company above and beyond project work.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A genuine interest in healthcare and an eagerness to learn about new areas of science.
