About the Role

Costello Medical is seeking a highly skilled Analyst/Medical Writer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality medical communications, including reports, posters, and publications, to support the successful launch of novel therapies and devices.

Our Analyst/Medical Writers work on a wide range of projects, from literature reviews and systematic reviews to health economic models and real-world evidence studies. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, patient and public health bodies, and charitable organizations.

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong scientific background and excellent writing and analytical skills. You will have a proven track record of producing high-quality written content, and be able to communicate complex scientific information to a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of scientific and medical concepts, including literature reviews, health economic models, and real-world evidence studies
  • Produce high-quality written content, including reports, posters, and publications, to support the successful launch of novel therapies and devices
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop project plans and deliverables
  • Conduct literature reviews and systematic reviews to support the development of health economic models and real-world evidence studies
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of health economic concepts, including cost-effectiveness analysis and budget impact analysis
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of real-world evidence concepts, including data acquisition and analysis
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent)
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality written content
  • Strong scientific background and understanding of medical concepts
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
