Advanced Respiratory Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Network, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.
As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert practice, exercising a high degree of specialist professional judgement to support the patient journey. You will work closely with the MBRN support staff and other members of the 'high risk' service to measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the service, at the patient and system level, engaging in a cycle of continuous service improvement.
You will also provide clinical leadership, supervision and training to the MBRN and wider MDT to support an overall improvement in Chronic Respiratory Disease management across Morecambe Bay.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert practice and exercising specialist professional judgement to support the patient journey
- Working closely with the MBRN support staff and other members of the 'high risk' service to measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the service
- Providing clinical leadership, supervision and training to the MBRN and wider MDT
