Join Our Team as a Seasonal Gardening Assistant

We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people in the community.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to share their gardening talents with service users at our Extra Care Service. The successful candidate will have the ability to safely guide and assist our clients with gardening activities, developing activities in a collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with gardening activities, including planting, weeding, and pruning.
  • Develop and lead gardening activities, taking into account the needs and abilities of our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the gardening areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with older people or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a gardening environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team.
