We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive schools in Waltham Forest, London. As a Psychology graduate passionate about making a real difference in education, you will be helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your undergraduate skills and knowledge in a rewarding and challenging environment. You will be working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing academic and emotional support to students in the classroom
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Helping students develop their independence and life skills

You will have the opportunity to work with a range of students, from primary to secondary age groups, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression. Our schools are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all staff and students.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
