Job Description

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Commis Waiter to join the Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at the OWO.

Reporting into Head Waiter, you will be responsible for the day-to-day service of the restaurant in the brand's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing your tasks to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the menu and all products to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Food Delivery: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
  • Front of House and Back of House Communication: Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of House staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Table Setting: Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
  • Guest Feedback: Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests.
  • Sustainable Practices: Commit to best possible sustainable practices daily in terms of waste management and purchasing.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required or assigned, including working in a different department or restaurant than usually assigned.
