Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual with a Psychology degree to take on the role of Support Assistant at Academics. This position involves providing assistance and companionship to an individual with specific needs, offering a great opportunity to apply psychological principles in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship to an individual with specific needs
  • Assisting with daily tasks and activities
  • Developing and maintaining a positive and supportive relationship with the individual
  • Communicating effectively with the individual and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Psychology degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time position, working Mondays and Fridays, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The successful candidate will be required to commit to this schedule.
