Role Overview

This role involves key working a caseload of clients across the area, providing the opportunity to work autonomously and manage your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work proactively to achieve positive outcomes and goals outlined by individuals, using a creative approach tailored to each person's needs.
  • Broaden or strengthen your skills in supporting a range of complex needs, including housing crisis, substance misuse, complex mental health, ACEs, offending behaviour, etc.
  • Develop or strengthen your understanding of ACEs, working with a trauma-informed approach and in a physiologically informed environment.
  • Enhance your relationship-building and partnership-working skills, promoting your services and working closely with relevant local agencies.
Requirements
  • The ability to engage and build strong relationships with people.
  • A non-judgmental mindset and an understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • A forward-thinking and resilient attitude, to overcome the barriers and setbacks you will face.
  • A strong character who can remain calm and collected in challenging situations.
  • Experience in support work or housing, with an understanding of housing options, housing law, and basic benefits.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car.
