Financial Support Specialist

To provide exceptional support to students and applicants with their Student Funding applications, we are seeking a highly organized and communicative Financial Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their Student Funding applications, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Communicate effectively with students, scheduling online meetings and responding to enquiries.
- Update records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide high-level customer care throughout the academic year.
Working Pattern:
- Monday - Friday, 3pm to 8pm.
- Saturday, 10am to 3pm.
- Sunday (during enrolment periods).
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all students receive full support for their student finance application.
- Assist students in making their applications to Student Finance.
- Manage Student Finance enquiries related to undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve student queries.
- Respond to student queries via email and SysAid ticketing system.
Requirements:
- High degree of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Excel.
- Background in Student Finance desirable but not essential.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with good communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Effective time management and planning.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Other Information:
- The Finance Support Officer will demonstrate commitment to GBS values and regulations.
- They will also contribute to the delivery of GBS's Environmental Policy.
- Health and Safety responsibilities will be ensured.
