Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales and Marketing Strategies
Develop and own the sales and marketing plan that aligns with the hotel's objectives, outlining actions and strategies to support the hotel's positioning in the marketplace.
Collaborate with Revenue TeamCollaborate with the hotel revenue team, supported by the General Manager and Area Sales Director, to devise strategies to retain and grow the business and maximize revenue.
Market Intelligence and ResearchContinuously research competitor properties to obtain market and rate intelligence, understand business trends, and identify potential business to target.
Account Development and ManagementActively seek, identify, secure, and contract new and repeat business across all market segments, with a focus on corporate, meetings and events, and banqueting segments.
Relationship Building and ManagementEstablish and manage relationships with Brand Key Account Directors/Managers to maximize revenue opportunities from key national accounts.
Utilize Brand Sales InitiativesUtilize Brand sales initiatives and tools to maximize benefits to the hotel.
Account Development PlansPrepare account development plans for the hotel's key accounts to ensure maximum share from each account.
Support Central Marketing TeamSupport Valor's central marketing team in data capture and database management processes and systems.
Local Marketing and PRIdentify and target local leisure attractions to develop mutually beneficial affiliations and partnerships.
Hotel Online PresencePlan and execute local hotel marketing campaigns, producing sales and marketing collateral in conjunction with Valor's central marketing team and partners.
Local PR and NetworkingMaximize local PR opportunities when appropriate.
Embed Sales CultureEngage with the hotel team to embed a sales culture throughout the hotel, utilizing Valor sales initiatives and tools.
Represent the HotelRepresent the hotel at seminars and business events to maximize networking opportunities and raise the hotel's profile.
Requirements- Proficiency in CRM and Digital Marketing
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams/Zoom, Social Media, and Digital Marketing Channels (i.e., Facebook, Instagram) is essential for this role.
