Payroll Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team at Alexander Sloan LLP. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage payroll data, including starters, leavers, and statutory payments.
  • Work closely with clients and the wider team to ensure payroll tasks are completed to deadlines.
  • Provide excellent service to clients, including knowledge of pensions, NI, Tax, and Statutory payments.
  • Carry out audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of NI, Tax, and Statutory payments.
  • Organized and able to prioritize and manage own workload.
  • First-hand experience of using cloud-based payroll software packages is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Sage 50 payroll.
  • Ability to work towards deadlines and improve efficiencies.
  • Excellent IT skills.
