About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Assurance Manager to lead and coach a team of Discipline Engineers and Project Support Specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project assurance procedures are followed and developed according to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define team members' roles and objectives, manage resource allocation, and coordinate training and development.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring safety, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams during project development and execution phases.
  • Develop and implement project governance processes and quality management systems.
  • Prepare investment proposals, estimate project costs, and manage budgets.
  • Ensure effective resource utilization and track project progress.
  • Responsible for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management related to all projects.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Supply & Management department to create project commercial strategies, manage engineering contracts, and oversee supply agreements.
  • Provide engineering and technical support where necessary.
  • Set the technical strategy and direction for the site's project delivery and maintenance systems.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree
  • Chartered status or equivalent
  • 10+ years of post-graduate experience
  • Extensive understanding of Project Delivery and COMAH regulations
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or Chemical Manufacturing processes
