Regional Organiser Lead

ROLE SUMMARY
The National Education Union is seeking a skilled Regional Organiser Lead to support and develop members and activists in the East Midlands region.
SALARY AND PACKAGE
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £56,714 per annum, calculated pro-rata for part-time applicants, plus benefits including 35 days' annual leave and a defined benefit pension scheme.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Organiser Lead will be responsible for building participation, unity and power to win, working directly with members and activists to develop confident workplace representatives and strong workplace groups. They will also lead and champion good organising practice across the union, regionally and nationally.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, applicants should have experience of managing multiple organising projects, working well in a team, and delivering key strategic industrial campaigns and projects. They should also be able to work flexibly as part of a team, prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and use their own initiative.
