We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housing Officer to join our team at Link Housing Association Ltd. As a key member of our housing services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality housing services to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including allocation sign-ups, settling-in visits, and tenancy agreements.
- Conduct regular annual tenancy visits to ensure compliance with Link's policies and procedures.
- Manage and report on arrears, abandonments, and evictions in accordance with procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of housing legislation, choice-based lettings, and housing benefit.
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a housing or property management context.
