Paediatric Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine Specialist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Job SummaryThis is a one-year fixed-term post commencing in August 2025, designed to offer extensive training opportunities for clinicians wishing to pursue a career in paediatric anaesthesia and pain medicine.
Main Duties- Provide a high-quality elective and emergency anaesthetic service as requested.
- Engage in clinical governance activities such as critical incident reporting, attend morbidity and mortality meetings, perform audit and participate in any mandatory training deemed necessary.
- Actively engage in the teaching and training of other members of the anaesthetic department and hospital staff.
- Engage with quality improvement activity.
- Perform additional management and administrative tasks as deemed appropriate to the position.
