Location: Offshore UK

Sector: Offshore Wind

Rotation: 2/2 (Possibly 4/4)

Job Type: Contract Basis

Clearance: BPSS

Job Responsibilities:

  • To review declared medicines and medical conditions to confirm if a person is suitable to board
  • Provide treatments for everyday health concerns
  • To provide medical treatment (with the support of 24hr telemedicine onshore support) for all persons injured at work
  • Monitor the stock of medical equipment on board and re-order against an minimum stock/equipment list
  • Transfer to offshore assets to provide stabilisation treatment and support the recovery of injured persons who are unable to return to the mother vessel without medical treatment first
  • Deliver first aid familiarisation training – this is to prevent skill fade and therefore the medic does not need to be a registered trainer
  • Support medical response drills

Requirements:

  • Full GWOs; Sea Survival, Manual Handling, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights
  • UK HSE Offshore Medic Certificate (Will need to be a registered nurse, paramedic or army medic)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK to be considered for these positions
