Teaching Students with Special Educational Needs in Bournemouth

About the Role:

GSL Education in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student requirements.

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of students with Autism and other Special Educational Needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress and well-being.
  • Monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure all students achieve their academic goals.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £31,650 - £49,084 (MPS/UPS), making it an attractive opportunity for qualified educators. As a valued member of our team, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with students with SEN preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various Special Educational Needs, including Autism, and experience implementing strategies to support these needs.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
