Chef Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Chef Supervisor to join our esteemed Catering team at OCS. This exciting opportunity will be based at our prestigious site in Wirral, where you will report directly to the Manager on site.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and drink services to our clients and site visitors. Your primary focus will be on supporting and delivering all catering and associated services at appointed premises, ensuring that our high standards of quality and presentation are consistently met.

Main Responsibilities:

• To support and deliver all catering and associated services at appointed premises.
• Food production in line with the company recipes, cooked and presented to a high specification.
• To assist in the running of the kitchen/unit in the Manager's absence.
• To prepare breakfast & serve in a local canteen.
• To help clear away and tidy kitchen when finished.

What We're Looking For:

• A driven and enthusiastic employee with a passion for food and service.
• Someone who is willing to attain the highest standards possible and work well in a team.
• Ideally, you will have your food handling certificate – but don't worry if you don't, we can help you achieve this.
• A background in contract catering would be ideal but not essential.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
• Food Safety Level 3 would be an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be interacting with the customer base and onsite clients.
