Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Decorative Event Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK. This exciting role will see you working on a variety of events, from small gatherings to large-scale conferences.

About the Role:
  • Event Management: Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring all decorations and visual elements meet the highest standards.
  • Decor Coordination: Manage the decoration process, including sourcing materials, designing layouts, and overseeing setup and take-down.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with event teams to ensure seamless delivery of creative elements.
Responsibilities:
  1. Warehouse Management: Oversee the decs warehouse, ensuring all decor elements are well-organised and ready for events.
  2. Packing and Labeling: Accurately pack and label decor equipment, ensuring everything is ready for departure.
  3. Event Setup: Set up and assist with decor at events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  4. Stock Control: Maintain stock levels for decorative items and consumables.
  5. Transportation: Drive the company van for deliveries and equipment collection as needed.
Requirements:
  • Design Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with event teams.
  • Licence: A valid driving licence and the ability to drive the company van.
Salary:

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
