About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphite PIE Technician to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our Fuel Reactor & Reprocessing capability, you will play a vital role in developing the UK fuel cycle in line with advances in new technology and new processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement virtual modeling techniques to simulate reactor behavior and optimize fuel cycle performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new reactor fuel technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve reactor safety and efficiency.
What You'll Need
  • Strong technical skills in reactor fuel modeling and simulation.
  • Experience working with virtual modeling software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
