We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Harrier Grange Care Home.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing monthly rolling programmes as well as individual activities, encouraging residents to stay active and maintain their hobbies. You will foster social connections among the residents by organizing diverse activities that cater to all preferences.
Responsibilities:- Plan and Organize: Develop and manage a range of engaging events and activities to promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Foster Social Connections: Help residents build relationships through various activities that cater to different interests.
- Keep Accurate Records: Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities.
- Event Planning Skills: Proven ability to organize and execute successful events and activities.
- Creativity and Confidence: A friendly, creative, and confident personality that shines through in your work.
- Passion for Elderly Care: A genuine interest in working with the elderly, helping them live life to the fullest.
- Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £11.75 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, and uniform provided.
