Service Manager Therapies and District Nursing Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our team in the Community & Rehabilitation Care Group. The successful candidate will support the delivery of daily operations and business, cost improvement plans, and activity delivery within the Care Group.
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing either Therapies and District Nursing or Care Group Strategic Projects, which include patient flow, Frailty pathways & SDEC, Community EPR implementation, and outpatients. The role requires close collaboration with clinical and operational teams to respond to performance issues and ensure swift resolution.
Main Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day efficient and effective production and management of defined performance areas
- Work closely with clinical and operational teams to respond to performance issues and ensure swift resolution
- Facilitate effective communication between and across service areas
- Support performance improvement alongside safe and effective care to patients
- Recognised leadership and/or management qualification or equivalent
- Education and training to degree level or equivalent
- Experience of service delivery and performance, including a track record of contributing to improvements in service standards and patient experience
- Experience of managing administrative and support staff
- Experience of working with patients and the public to develop and improve services
- Up-to-date knowledge of defined service areas, including current issues in service delivery and patient pathways
- Understanding of current issues in health performance, including business planning process
- Ability to write management reports and on key performance and service issues
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex and varied information in order to identify issues and solutions
