Freelance Interpreter Required for Public and Private Sector Assignments

We are recruiting freelance interpreters to work with various public and private sector organizations. As a freelancer, you will have flexible working arrangements and competitive rates.

Our client provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK. If you are fluent in English and another language, and have a strong understanding of politics, business, health care, and public service, this could be the ideal role for you.

We are currently recruiting for freelance interpreters to work in the following settings:

  • Face-to-Face Interpreting
  • Telephone Interpreting
  • Video Interpreting
  • Translation

As a freelancer, you will be responsible for interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services. You will also be expected to check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
