Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager Assistant to join our team in Abingdon. As a key member of our construction site team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Job Description

As a Site Manager Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the construction site. This will include:

  • Assisting the Site Manager in overseeing the labouring tasks on site
  • Inspecting on-site signage and ensuring it's clean and well-maintained
  • Taking personal responsibility for health and safety on site and reporting any breaches to the Site Manager
  • Ensuring protection of fixed materials is carried out in line with company procedures
  • Maintaining compound and welfare facilities
  • Ensuring plots under construction are kept tidy
  • Checking show home gardens and public open spaces for rubbish
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working on large volume domestic house building sites
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • A current CSCS or partner scheme card
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
