CSA Construction Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join our team at Clear Engineering Recruitment LTD. As a CSA Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the coordination of Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
  • Lead and support the CSA team in their roles to deliver the CSA scope on fast-track and technical projects.
  • Ensure site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Safety Team.
  • Drive a strong culture of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental matters within the team.
  • Plan and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation aspects for all CSA works.
  • Develop a project delivery strategy for the CSA work and support the commercial team to create 'Scope of Work' documents.
  • Review client design, highlight discrepancies, and lead successful resolutions.
  • Develop and manage a detailed site plan for Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, including onsite management of contractors.
  • Manage project schedules and liaise with design teams to ensure necessary information is issued.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities and chair weekly progress meetings.
  • Ensure all sub-contractor documentation is well maintained and filed accordingly.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, and design reviews.
  • Manage close-out of all project items, including Punch List, Safety File, and Project Plan.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Construction degree qualification or similar.
  • At least 7 years of CSA construction site experience.
  • Strong background in managing and successfully completing CSA work packages.
  • Ability to maintain an overview of the entire project while managing technical aspects.
  • Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing.
  • Experience in effectively managing internal construction teams.
  • Experience in delivery of large-scale projects.
