Lead Studio Assistant

Seventy7 is a leading integrated creative agency, delivering innovative solutions for renowned brands across fashion and home. Our team, based in London, Manchester, and Mumbai, combines creativity, commercialism, and technical expertise to provide end-to-end account management and logistics production.

This role will be based in our London studio complex in SW6.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Studio Assistant to join our team and elevate our studio operations to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, lighting, and studio equipment, with a proven track record of overseeing daily studio operations, supporting photographers, and ensuring smooth workflow.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute photo shoots, coordinating with other departments and team members to ensure efficient technical and logistical aspects.
  • Oversee and manage the setup and breakdown of studio equipment and sets.
  • Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring all items are in working order and properly stored.
  • Support photographers and creatives during shoots, ensuring all equipment and props are prepared and in place.
  • Manage studio schedules, coordinate with contractors/suppliers, and handle financial transactions.
  • Manage studio inventory, including ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and organizing props and materials.
  • Contribute ideas for shoots and help source props and materials.
  • Greet and assist clients throughout the day, ensuring a positive experience and meeting their needs.
  • Implement and improve studio workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee and maintain studio/kitchen cleanliness to a high standard.
  • General studios duties including painting, set building, and cleaning.
  • Help train new Studio Assistants and interns, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a photographic studio or related environment.
  • Proficiency in photography equipment and software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/GoogleDocs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
