Job Title: Child and Family Services Coordinator
Company Overview: Essex County Council is a leading provider of social care services, seeking dedicated professionals to join our Family Support and Protection (FS&P) teams. Our mission is to support families facing complex, long-term issues and promote resilience in children and young people.
Salary: £33,885 per annum (pro rata'd for part time hours), with the potential to rise to £36,101 per annum on successful completion of the ASYE programme.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Child and Family Services Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of child and family services across the county. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with various stakeholders and partners to provide comprehensive support to children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of child and family services, ensuring effective collaboration and partnership working with stakeholders, including children's services, health agencies, and community organizations.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and external agencies, providing clear and concise information on service delivery and outcomes.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance service effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Registration: A recognized social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience and Skills: Experience in coordinating services, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with diverse groups.
- Mobility and Travel: The role requires you to be mobile throughout the county of Essex and beyond, transporting service users and their belongings as needed.
