Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Named Health Visitors and Early Years Family Practitioners to empower children, young people, and families to make healthy lifestyle choices.
- Offer Healthy Child Programme contacts and identify when extra help may be required, providing appropriate support or signposting as needed.
- Build effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including children, young people, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs of our community and identify opportunities to improve health outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of public health strategies and initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and reduce health inequalities.
- Qualified nurse with a current NMC registration and up-to-date revalidation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Resilient, brave, and connected mindset, with a passion for public health and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Ability to travel throughout Swindon, with a car driver's license preferred.
- Fluent in the English language, with a strong understanding of the needs of diverse communities.
