About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Bid Specialist to identify business development opportunities in the public and private sectors in line with Company strategy. This role works cross functionally to engage with all areas who will deliver future services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Local Authority and Waste Procurement websites and portals, including Proactis, Delta, and Tenders Direct, to identify new bid opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver findings and bid recommendations to senior management.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day aspects of all live bids, from pre-qualification to mobilisation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of the waste management industry and the ability to identify business development opportunities.
